A named critic has also reviewed it: Meridith May, writing for The Tasting Panel in its May/June 2025 issue, scored the wine 90 points, noting aromas of 'brush, cinnamon-cherry, and cranberry' and describing 'a fine acidity' alongside 'a gelee of plum and sea salt,' the critic's words.

Our call: this suits a shopper who wants outside critical backing on a budget bottle; a named reviewer at The Tasting Panel scored it 90 points in a dated review, and its lowest checked price still lands among the least expensive reds we track. Pass if the shopper-rating record is what you lean on: only one shopper has rated it so far, a first impression, not yet a track record.
