What we make of this bottle

Pinot Noir is a red grape. Regional category guides say site and ripeness can make the difference between a delicate, bright-edged wine and a darker, fuller one, and the flavors they commonly describe are red cherry, plum and berry, in a wine lighter in color and lower in tannin than Cabernet Sauvignon. Our grape research adds that the grape's skins are relatively thin. Where the grapes for this bottle were grown is not something we have confirmed.
