What we make of this bottle
New Zealand's vineyards spread across roughly 1,600 kilometres from north to south, and official regional guides note that none sits more than 130 kilometres from the sea, so ocean weather reaches every one; latitude, rain shadows and local landforms still keep the regions distinct. The origin listed for this bottle is New Zealand at the country level, and those guides add that its registered regions, among them Marlborough and Central Otago, give more precise names.
Loveblock's own account is that Kim and Erica Crawford founded it and farm their New Zealand vineyards organically, making the wine themselves.
The grape is Sauvignon Blanc, which official guides describe as giving clear aroma and refreshing acidity, usually in a dry still wine even as sweetness and oak use vary.
