Sonoma Valley history
St. Francis Winery says Joe Martin planted its original vineyard in 1971 and opened the winery in 1979, and the Kopf family has been a partner in the business since 1988. The estate farms more than 400 acres of certified sustainable vineyards in Sonoma Valley and the Russian River Valley.
