The most specific description of this wine comes from the site listing it: Corks + Cheers lists The Recipient Pinot Noir as a Russian River Valley wine and names Matt Shuplock as the winemaker. That is the listing's account rather than the producer's, and the origin we confirmed ourselves is California, the state.
We do not have a shopper rating for this wine. Among the wines we cover that carry shopper scores, the median is 4.71 out of five.
The same site's product page for this wine gives a taste profile in its own words: “A silky Pinot Noir with vibrant red berry flavors of cherry and raspberry, accented by a touch of earthiness and soft tannins,” light to light-medium in body and dry, with cherry, cranberry and vanilla among the notes, and pairs it with lamb, salads and salmon. On the winemaker name specifically, the site's own pages disagree: its brand-level page attributes the name Mike Collier to the Recipient's wines, while this Pinot Noir's own product page names Matt Shuplock.
