Trimbach says its family winery was founded in 1626 in Ribeauville, Alsace, France, and is now run by the 13th generation of the Trimbach family.

Gewürztraminer is an aromatic white grape with pink to light-red skins. It is a selection of the older Traminer grape and can make dry or sweet wine.
