Pinot Noir grapes have relatively thin skins. Block Nine says the brand began with this same grape and added Cabernet Sauvignon only later, so the Pinot Noir is where the whole thing started. Among the reds we track, it also sits toward the lower-priced end.
Category guides for the grape commonly describe red cherry, berry and plum, lighter in color and softer in tannin than Cabernet Sauvignon. We do not have a shopper rating for this bottle.
