What we make of this bottle
Is Pinot Gris the same grape as Pinot Grigio? Our grape research says yes: the two are names for a single white grape, and the word chosen usually signals a style rather than a different grape. This bottle does not carry a shopper rating yet.
Official guides describe the grape as showing pear, apple, citrus and stone fruit, running from dry to gently off-dry, with the Gris name often pointing to more body and texture and the Grigio name to a lighter, crisper style. That is the grape in general, not a note on this bottle.
