This wine comes out of Oregon. A to Z Wineworks says four wine professionals in the state established the company in 2002.
The grape is Pinot Gris. Official wine guides treat Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio as the same white grape, with the two names often flagging a style rather than a different fruit; the Grigio spelling tends to go on lighter, crisper wines, while Gris often points to more body. If you are weighing a bottle marked one way against a bottle marked the other, that tendency is what the words are signaling, not a different grape. For flavor, those guides describe pear, apple and citrus, running from dry to a little off-dry.
