The winery itself goes back decades. Clos du Bois says Frank Woods founded it in 1974, which tells you about the company rather than about this particular Pinot Grigio.

Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are two names for one white grape, with the Grigio spelling usually pointing to a lighter, crisper style. Official guides describe pear, apple, citrus and stone fruit, from dry to gently off-dry. The page does not publish an alcohol percentage or say whether the wine saw any oak, and we have not confirmed either for this bottle.
