What we make of this bottle
And with a Riesling, the first question the name leaves open is whether it will be sweet or dry. Official guides note that Riesling keeps its sharp acidity even as it ripens and can be made anywhere from fully dry to sweet, so the grape tells you the aroma to expect, not the sweetness in the glass.
