What we make of this bottle
Guides to Washington wine describe the Cascade Range as keeping much of the Pacific rain off the eastern side of the state, where the result is generally dry, with warm summer days, cool nights and a winter frost risk, while sites west of the mountains stay under a stronger marine influence. Those guides add that Washington is a state origin rather than one growing area, with 21 recognized growing areas, some shared with Oregon, so the exact area can still matter when a label just says Washington.
The grape is Pinot Grigio, which official guides note is the same grape as Pinot Gris under a different name, the Grigio wording often signaling a lighter, crisper style. We do not have a shopper rating for this wine. As for who stands behind it, Liquid Light's own terms say its site is operated by Ste. Michelle Wine Estates Ltd.
That lighter, crisper style is what the guides tie to the grape in general, and this bottle was priced between $13.99 and $19.99 across the stores we checked in September 2026. Either way, the guides keep the grape's description plain: pear, citrus and stone fruit, in a style that runs from dry to gently off-dry.
