Our take
What we make of this bottle
XXL Strawberry & Grapes names its two lead flavors right on the label. The producer's own product page settles the style, a sweet fortified wine, and the alcohol, 16 percent. It does not settle where the wine is made; no country of origin appears on the page, and unlike some other XXL bottles, we found no other source that fills that gap for this particular wine.
Drink XXL describes the wine, in its own words, as tasting 'like falling in love,' made from grapes and natural fruit extracts with aromas of strawberry jam, wild berry and violet. The listed harvest and vineyard numbers, hand picked in October at a yield of 3.85 tons per acre from a 40 percent clay-sandy, 60 percent black soil mix, with 5.6 grams per litre of acidity, match what the producer states word for word on its Blackberry bottling, which reads as a shared specification sheet across the XXL flavored wine line rather than a number specific to this wine.
As with the rest of the XXL line, Drink XXL's site has no About or brand history page anywhere in its sitemap, and no independent critic review of this bottle turned up in our research.
So far 1 shopper has rated it, at 5 out of five. In our August 2026 checks the bottle ranged from $10.99 to $16.99 across ten stores.
Our call: fine for a shopper who wants a sweet, strawberry and grape flavored wine and is comfortable going on the producer's own description alone. Pass if you want the country of origin confirmed, or numbers specific to this exact wine rather than shared across the line; the harvest and soil figures match the producer's Blackberry listing word for word, and one perfect rating is a start, not a reputation.
