What we make of this bottle
Noble Vines names this red blend for what it calls a "noble legacy": vine stocks the producer says trace to "renowned vineyards of France," cultivated in California and used, in the brand's words, "to craft wines of substance and character." That heritage story is the label's main selling point; the producer does not publish the blend's grape percentages anywhere on its page for this wine.
Noble Vines' own tech sheet lists the wine as a California red blend aged in both French and American oak, with tasting notes of dark cherry, baking spice and vanilla on the nose and blackberry, raspberry, mocha and vanilla on the palate, structured, in the producer's words, as "lush" with "balanced acidity" and "smooth tannins." The same tech sheet states the alcohol at 14.0 percent. A separate retailer listing gives the alcohol for this wine as 14.5 percent instead; our record has not resolved which figure is right, so we report both.
Noble Vines belongs to Delicato Family Wines' portfolio, and the brand also runs a hunger-relief program with partners including No Kid Hungry, a cause the company ties to its "pouring good into every occasion" tagline. The rating on our record is 5 out of five, from 4 ratings, a start rather than a track record. In our September 2026 checks, the only store we found it in tagged it at $12.99.
Our call: worth a try if the noble-vine-stock story and a fully described French and American oak, dark cherry and mocha tasting profile are documentation enough for an inexpensive California red blend. Pass if you want the alcohol content settled before you buy; Noble Vines' own tech sheet says 14.0 percent, a retailer listing says 14.5 percent, and neither our record nor the producer resolves the gap.
