The grape is Sauvignon Blanc. Our grape research describes it as a white with clear aromas and refreshing acidity, usually made in a dry style. Official regional guides add a pattern: grown in cooler vineyards it can lean toward green and citrus flavors, while warmer or riper fruit can push it toward the tropical end.

Black Stallion Estate Winery says its Napa Valley winery was established in 2007 on the former Silverado Horseman's Center property.

Black Stallion's own product page lists the 2023 vintage at 14.5 percent alcohol and places the wine in its 'Current Releases' tier, the winery's widest-distribution level, priced alongside a North Coast Chardonnay from the same tier.
