What we make of this bottle
And the rating crowd here is small: 1 ratings put it at 5, on a five-point scale, which is not much to lean on yet. Color Block Wines is the brand, though we do not have a confirmed producer account to draw on. The grape itself is surer ground: official regional guides for Cabernet Sauvignon list black currant alongside cherry and plum, with a firm tannic grip and, where oak comes in, a possible hint of spice.
Those same guides note that ripeness, climate and winemaking can carry the grape from a leaner, herb-tinged style to a rounder, fruit-driven one, so the name alone does not fix where a given bottle lands. In our August 2026 checks the price came to $9.88, which at the time put it among the least expensive reds we track.
