Independent editorial coverage does exist for one earlier vintage: Edible Monterey Bay reported that Ghost Hull's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the San Lucas Vineyard in the San Lucas AVA, won “Best of Monterey County” at the Monterey International Wine Competition with a 96-point score, at a reported price of $42.99, a result tied specifically to that 2016 release and not confirmed to describe the bottle on shelf today.
