The producer's own notes name boysenberry, ripe plum and red currant on the nose, with anise, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate-covered blueberries on the palate, the maker's words. The page describes California's growing conditions in broad terms, warm dry summers and mild wet winters that the producer says promote full ripening while preserving acidity. The producer does not publish an ABV or further technical specifications for this bottling.
