What we make of this bottle

Australia, as a wine origin, stretches from cool seaside and high-elevation vineyards to warm districts deep in the interior. The Uprising takes the widest option, giving its origin simply as Australia, a name the country's official register protects right alongside narrower states, zones, regions and subregions. A single country name cannot describe one growing season, and we cannot yet confirm which grapes are in the blend. It is an Australian red, and that is as precise as the geography gets.

Our August 2026 checks put the shelf price between $9.99 and $16.99, and the bottom of that range makes this one of the least expensive reds we cover. We do not have a shopper rating for this wine. 19 Crimes does state, in its own terms and conditions, that the brand and its website belong to Treasury Wine Estates.
