What we make of this bottle
This is a white wine made from Pinot Grigio grapes. Kim Crawford's own product page now gives this bottling a producer account, even if a thin one: it describes the wine as "a sip of the Italian lifestyle," made from grapes grown in Italy's Delle Venezie region, "one of the world's most famous regions for growing this varietal," the producer's own words. The name itself gives the grape and the origin: Delle Venezie DOC. One point on the grape is worth clearing up. Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are two names for the same grape; official grape guides say the label wording often signals a style choice but does not make it a different grape.
At 4.63 out of five across 16 ratings, that is how shoppers scored it. Those guides describe a lighter, crisper style for Pinot Grigio, with sweetness that ranges from dry to gently off-dry, so the name alone will not tell you which style is in the bottle. Our September 2026 checks found it between $14.99 and $21.99.
The producer's page adds tasting detail beyond the name: pale yellow in the glass, with "clean and bright" aromas of floral, apple and citrus notes, and a palate the producer describes as carrying minerality and brightness with a smooth finish. What that page does not give is a number: no alcohol percentage, no vinification method, no blend composition and no award appears anywhere on it, so those specifics stay unconfirmed even with a producer account now in hand.
Our call: a sensible pick if the lighter, crisper style the guides describe for Pinot Grigio is what you already pour, with a confirmed grape, a confirmed Delle Venezie DOC origin, and now a producer account describing the wine as bright and mineral-driven behind it. Pass if hard numbers matter to you; the producer's own page names no alcohol percentage, no vinification method and no awards, so those specifics stay unconfirmed.
