What we make of this bottle
M de Minuty is a rose from Provence, and with a wine like this the place is most of the story. In our September 2026 checks it was priced $24.99 to $35.99. Provence is a broad wine region in the southeast of France rather than a single style, so the fuller appellation given to a wine tells you more than the word Provence alone.
Regional guides describe a sunny Mediterranean climate with dry summers, and a wind called the Mistral that can drop the humidity and cool the more exposed vineyards, with altitude and distance from the sea shifting temperatures from one plot to the next. In the aisle, that is reason to look past the word Provence to the exact appellation, since Cotes de Provence, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence are separate protected names within the region.
Behind the M de Minuty name is the Minuty estate: Chateau Minuty says Gabriel Farnet revived its property on the Saint-Tropez peninsula in the 1930s, though which grapes go into this rose is not something we can confirm. We do not have a shopper rating for this wine.
