Sea Sun's own product page describes the finished wine directly: scents of toasted wood, brown spice and dried apricot lead into flavors of bright orchard fruit and white peach, with a round finish the producer calls vibrant with a toasty edge, all traits it credits to time in oak balanced against the grape's natural acidity. The brand's account also explains the name: Sea Sun sources grapes from up and down the California coast, Solano, Monterey and Santa Barbara counties among them, where the producer says the pull of ocean wind and the strength of the sun leave their mark on the fruit and let it hang on the vine longer, which is also where the Sea Sun name comes from. The producer does not publish alcohol content, pH or residual sugar for this wine, so those numbers stay outside our record.
