This Chilean red sits among the least expensive reds we track, and in our September 2026 checks the lowest we found for it was $8.99. The Casillero del Diablo name is on it, but we have not pinned down a producer account for this bottle.
Because the number of ratings so far is 1, the score it shows, 2 out of five, is one early reading and little more. That 2 sits well under the 4.71 median across the reds we track, though with so little to go on it would be a mistake to make much of either number. Its origin is given only as Chile, a long country with growing areas running from the north down toward the far south, so the country name by itself does not fix the wine to one valley. Chile's rules distinguish areas influenced by the Andes, the inland depression and the Pacific coast. Those influences and the long north-to-south span mean there is no one national growing climate.
